January Adult Sunday School Opportunities

We have two special opportunities for the Sunday School hour in January. All adults (whether you are in a class or not) are invited to attend. Sunday, January 15, 9:30 in the Family Room. Rev. Romney Nesbitt will present a program called “This Too Shall Pass: Managing the Ups and Downs of Life” Sunday, January 29 Youth Pancake Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall, 9-9:45. Followed by Amy’s Sabbatical Presentation from 9:45 to 10:15. This is our fifth Sunday gathering.

Youth Parent Meeting Today

There will be a meeting for the parents of all youth grades 2-8 this Sunday, immediately following worship, in the Garden of Eatin’. We will be making plans for the Pancake Breakfast, and discussing Sunday School, Safety Policies, and Summer Camp. Please make every effort to attend!

Save the Date! Leadership Training School Saturday, Feb 4, First Christian, OKC

This annual event, sponsored by the Regional Church, offers classes on leadership, spirituality, church administration, and many other pertinent topics. There is something for everyone, and the church pays your way, so why not plan to attend!? The event runs from 9 – 12:45 a.m.

Flock Organizational Meetings

It will be necessary for each flock to have an organizational meeting for the 2012 year. The Flocks have not changed, but the flocks will have new Elders. This organizational meeting should be called by the Elders as soon as possible.
