Reverend Debra Todd has served as Pastor of Village Christian Church since 2015. She is a graduate of Brite Divinity at TCU. Debra is married and has two sons.

Welcome to Village Christian Church, a congregation serving God from the heart of The Village. Please join us as we put our faith into action in service to our Lord and our community. We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.

Our Vision: To be a faithful, growing church that demonstrates true community, deep Christian spirituality and a passion for justice.

Our Mission: To be and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, witnessing, loving and serving from our doorsteps “to the ends of the earth”. Acts 1:8

⁴⁴While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. ⁴⁵The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on Gentiles. ⁴⁶For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.

Then Peter said, ⁴⁷“Surely no one can stand in the way of their being baptized with water. They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have.” ⁴⁸So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
